MARVEL's founder talks space and dinosaurs

MARVEL's founder, Dr Graziella Caprarelli, held a public talk today (April 20, 2017) at the South Australia Division of the Geological Society of Australia, about her enthusiasm for learning science as a kid through her interest in dinosaurs and space. Space, meteorites, fossils, elicit wonder and curiosity among people of all ages, and especially with kids. It makes sense to attract smart young people to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) by linking rigorous studies of these disciplines to the curiosity all humans have about big and wonderful natural things, from dinosaurs to planets and stars.
