MARVEL has been created by a group of scientists, educators, engineers and artists, for the dual purpose of scientific discovery and scientific education. The MARVEL education team includes a group of space educators and education researchers whose mission is to improve the way science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) are presented in Australian schools. Far from being boring or irrelevant, studying or working in STEM-related fields is a thrilling experience. MARVEL aims to bring the excitement of scientific discovery to Australian schools. The virtual laboratory is a real scientific lab for data acquisition, exchange, processing and analysis, around which curricular objectives have been designed by the MARVEL education and education research experts.
